Tue., October 5, 2021 | 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Holiday Inn by the Bay, 88 Spring Street, Portland, ME 04101

We are carefully watching the status of the ongoing pandemic. MTUG will follow Maine CDC guidance.
We have rescheduled this event to the fall with the purpose of having a safe, rewarding in-person event, and MTUG will follow public health guidance throughout.

All participants will be notified, and announcements posted here and in our Monthly Webinar emails, if any further schedule or format change is made.

Why Attend the MTUG Technology Summit?

MTUG's IT Summit and Tradeshow is the premier technology infrastructure conference in Maine with workshop topics that speak to the concerns and interests of IT professionals in all organizational sectors and industries. The exhibitors on the tradeshow floor will run the full array of IT services, from telco and ISP providers, managed services providers, contact center providers, training, IT management and support, data and storage management, infrastructure/data center, cloud services, and more.

Attendees enjoyed:

  • continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon dessert
  • keynote speaker
  • 12 Workshops featuring independent voices over 5 tracks, carefully selected by the MTUG volunteer board.
  • a chance to reconnect with your peers statewide
  • full tradeshow floor access featuring a broad selection of tech vendors willing to invest their presence in Maine. Past shows have had over 50 exhibitors.
  • numerous door prizes from our sponsors and exhibitors

Sponsors / Exhibitors have unique access to:

  • A regional IT professional audience who attend MTUG events specifically for our brand of carefully selected/guided workshops featuring authentic technology implementation experiences from their peers.
  • Be present among the largest collection of IT vendors in Maine. Local tech professionals come to MTUG to meet the tech vendors invested in Maine and Northern New England.
  • Visibility on the MTUG event site, directory, and event-related publicity.
  • Access to the print-only attendee list delivered to all User Group attendees at the event.

Use our Email Signup form below if you would like to receive attendee, presentation, and exhibitor announcements about our next IT Summit, as well as MTUG's free season of monthly events from September to April.

Summit Workshops
Thanks to All Submitters of Workshop Proposals!

The MTUG Board of Directors is currently reviewing the set of proposals we received this spring (June 30 due date). Our goal is to update all submitters on their proposal's status by late July. Stay tuned!

Did you miss the Workshop RFP Period? No worries! MTUG accepts workshop, "Peers & Beers" and Webinar proposals *all year long*!

Successful proposals feature strong "end-user" voices --> these are IT professionals or technology implementers working for NON-tech-sales companies, including independent experts that are not affiliated with an IT-sales organization. Another way to look at it: If your presentation involves a service or product you sell, you should have a cospeaker who does not sell that service/product (ie: customer / independent expert). In this way, MTUG has provided our constituents access to independent voices addressing technology challenges from a first-hand, unfettered point of view, for over 30 years.

Anyone can submit a workshop proposal, and submitting a proposal is free! We'll soon have an updated ongoing Proposal Form at our "Get Involved" page, but for now please use our Summit Workshop Proposal to submit any idea, any time, for automatic consideration in our future Webinars, "Peers & Beers" events, or even possible openings at the MTUG Summit.

NEW - "End User" Speakers/Co-Speakers may bring one (1) complimentary guest. See workshop RFP guidelines document for details.

All Summit Workshop Proposals not accepted for the IT Summit will be automatically considered in developing our monthly educational events running Sept to April. Anyone can submit a workshop proposal -- we look forward to hearing your great workshop ideas!

COVID-19 Safety Statement: MTUG will work to provide the safest event possible. We will follow federal and state guidance and health official recommendations. Attendees, including sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers, are subject to health safety protocols MTUG may deem best to implement at the time, including but not limited to maskwearing, social distancing, and possibly vaccination requirements. The COVID-19 Pandemic is an evolving situation, and we appreciate your patience as we navigate rules and guidance to ensure a healthy and successful event for all. Please contact Kate Carpenter at 207-370-5327 if you have any questions.

MTUG Extends a Huge Thanks
to our Summit Sponsors & Exhibitors
continuing from 2020 to 2021!

The 2020 Summit was canceled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Thankfully, many 2020 Sponsors and Exhibitors graciously committed to continue their presence at the Summit for 2021 This has been a huge help in making sure we could continue to plan a successful 2021 Summit!

Public Attendee Registration

(Eventbrite frame may take a moment to load...
...if it doesn't, please go directly to the MTUG2021 Eventbrite page here.)

A note about the partially pre-sold status of the 2021 Summit's Exhibit Floor:
The MTUG Tradeshow sponsorships and exhibit booths typically sell during a registration period from mid-December through mid-March. Due the pandemic-caused cancelation of the MTUG 2020 Summit, the upcoming 2021's Summit Exhibition floor has a number of spots already taken by carried-over exhibitors/sponsors from 2020. Please register early for the best chances for a booth on the Fall 2021 Tradeshow floor. New Sponsorship/Exhibitor Registration Forms have been posted above for the 2021 Summit on October 5th. You may also Contact Us here if you want to have difficulty with the form, and wish to pre-register your intent to be a Sponsor or Exhibitor (sponsor/exhibitor prices will be the same as last year's -- see the Booth & Sponsor Package Grid PDF posted above).

Please join our "Tradeshow Exhibiting" List in our Email Signup below to receive the formal Sponsorship/Exhibitor Announcements later this winter (please add mtug.org to your "Safe Senders" list in your email application).
