Job Description

Web/Portal Developer

Description:  Under limited supervision, develops and maintains web and portal functionality, database tables, stored proceduresz and other programming funcationality in a community college setting.  Designs and prepares custom application programs and maintains existing programs.  Assignment of multiple projects at the same time.  Ability to prioritize projects to meet required deadlines.  Work involves frequent communication with users and significant contributions to project team meetings including leading aspects of small-scale projects.

Minimum Qualifications:  Associate's degree in Computer Technology or a related field and a minimum of two (2) years of application systems development experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  At least four (4) years of experience/knowledge of required programming languages, structuredprogramming technique, and application development tools.  The ability to develop programs from program specifications and to work effectively as a member of a project team is essential in performing the functions of this job.  Good communication skills required.

Starting Salary:  $18.80 -  $24.43 (starting range typically $18.80 - $21.44)
