Job Description

CGI is seeking a Sr. Tableau Developer to join a dynamic Waterville team serving multiple clients across many industries. This developer will support several other Analytics Reporting and ETL Developers working on various engagements. This role is expected to provide onsite guidance and mentoring to other developers while also supporting clients as assigned. This is a great opportunity to not only gain experience supporting clients in multiple industries but also be part of and help lead our Waterville Center’s business intelligence and data analytics program.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Mentoring and guiding junior developers

- Fostering the development and growth of the Waterville Center’s business intelligence/data analysis program

- Assessing and capturing client requirements for data visualizations

- Making recommendations to clients on how to best design visualizations that will support their needs

- Assessing data sources

- Designing and executing ETL activities

- Developing agreed-to data visualizations

- Conducting iterative design reviews with the client

- Performing functional testing, and supporting user acceptance testing

- Preparing knowledge transfer documentation

- Contributing to CGI data visualization and analytics assets

- Promoting CGI core values

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Essential Skills

1. Tableau development experience

2. SQL querying experience

3. Experience with data models

4. Good team work skills

5. Good communication (written and verbal) skills

6. Ability to solve problems and conduct research in order to address knowledge gaps

7. Ability to work independently

8. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or 3 years and a Master’s degree
