Job Description

The College is expanding its substantial student success programming and IT Services by adding a Programmer Analyst position. This position is made possible for up to five years through its newly-awarded US Department of Education Title III Strengthening Institutions grant.

The Programmer Analyst will use a variety of skills, including Active Server Pages, VBScript, HTML and SQL to help provide effective and efficient intranet and MyThomas information systems to the College community.   Business experience along with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 experience is helpful. Mobile app development is also helpful. This position works with staff, faculty and students and reports to the Vice President for Information Services and CIO.

The successful candidate will have experience delivering information systems to organizations, working knowledge of best practices for systems development, and working knowledge of systems analysis and design. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, strong prioritization skills, strong problem-solving skills, an attention to detail and a high degree of technical aptitude. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent is recommended.
