Host a Family Code Night!
If you have connections to a school or other youth-based organization in your community, consider setting up a Family Code Night this December!
Family Code Nights bring together kids and their parents to learn how to code using fun online puzzles using a blocky programming language. It’s perfect for elementary students but can work well with tweens, too.
This isn’t your ordinary Hour of Code event. It’s special because parents can be instrumental in giving their kids access to more computer science experiences outside of school.
