The Threat Landscape in the Aviation Industry

This presentation will give an overview of the threat landscape in the aviation industry. This will include threats to airports, aviation, and the supply chain. It will also cover threats to IT, OT, and threats to airplanes and avionics, at a high level.

Jared Falcon is a 18 year veteran of the IT industry, working in both the private and public sector. He is experienced in cloud engineering, disaster recovery and information security. He earned a bachelors in Management Information Systems during the first few years of the program at the University of Massachusetts. His career included working on security, IAM and cloud projects for large defense, retail, academic and pharmaceutical clients, as well as being an early employee to one of the first snapshot-based disaster recovery startups. He is currently working at the Aviation Information Sharing and Analysis Center (A-ISAC) doing cyber intelligence work for the aviation sector.
