Wed., March 10, 2021, 6:00 PM

LOCATION: Online - See event page link for access details

In this session Jockel Carter will introduce you to the concept of Privacy as an integrated component of enterprise security. We'll discuss how Privacy is defined, and why it has rapidly become an area the security professional needs to get familiar with. Does your organization have a Privacy Policy or cookies notice on your web sites? Do you know what a demand letter does to your daily data management practices? Are you familiar with how state laws, federal laws, and international laws are changing your operational requirements on a monthly basis? Attend this session to get a primer on where to start and what to be careful about as Privacy becomes more prominent in your security portfolio of responsibilities.

Jockel Carter is an experienced Cybersecurity professional with twenty-five years working in the IT and Information Security arena.
